2012  

The big event for 2012 is of course the Olympics.  We look forward to welcoming visitors who are looking to add a few days touring our beautiful county to their Olympic visit.

1st - 3rd  
STITCH AND CREATIVE CRAFT SHOW at the Three Counties Showground.  For more information contact Helen Thewlis 01822 614671.  

MAY  

4th - 8th
MALVERN WELL-DRESSING FESTIVAL  the festival celebrates the area’s spa heritage and helps raise awareness for continuous restorations of more than 40 wells in the area.


6th - 7th     
BLOSSOMTIME WEEKEND  come and taste the cider, perry and apple juice made from the autumn crops at the grand cider tasting in Putley Village Hall.  Guided walks through the orchards and wonderful home made food are also available.

10th - 13th
SPRING GARDENING SHOW  beautiful show gardens and lots of wonderful plants to buy.

26th May - 3rd June
MALVERN WALKING FESITVAL  the hills are alive with the sound of tramping feet.  A nine day festival of guided walks.  Popular routes get booked up early so don’t miss out.


JUNE      

31st May - 10th June
HAY LITERATURE FESTIVAL  probably the most famous literature festival in the world.

15th - 17th
THREE COUNTIES SHOW    where else can you see magnificent animals, rural crafts, sample food and drink from some of the finest producers in the country and watch a stunt motorcycle team jump over a lorry?  A fabulous day out for all ages.


JULY

29th June - 8th July
LEDBURY POETRY FESTIVAL  one of the biggest poetry festivals in the UK featuring poets from all over the world.  Live readings, performances, workshops and music.

21st - 28th
THREE CHOIRS FESTIVAL  moved forward a week from it’s usual slot in the calendar to accommodate the Olympic Games.
  


SEPTEMBER

29th - 30th
MALVERN AUTUMN SHOW an excellent day out for food and gardening lovers.  Cookery demonstrations, gardening talks, crafts and displays.  Don’t miss it.
